LOCAL COLLABORATION
KAIMI STUDIO x MISO PHAT SUSHI
A playful collection inspired by one of Maui’s most beloved restaurants.
THE STORY
If you’ve ever eaten at Miso Phat Sushi, you’ve probably noticed their sumo mascot. One day while eating there, I imagined him stepping off the menu and coming to life—surfing sashimi, snorkeling in my drink, and taking a dip in the miso soup.
That idea eventually grew into the Hawaii Sushi Collection: a series of hand-drawn illustrations inspired by the personality, humor, and charm that have made Miso Phat a favorite among both residents and visitors for years.
